I am trained in many professional methods for non-destructive entry. Assisting you to enter your property, or opening an internal locked door, while avoiding or minimising damage to your lock, door or door frame.
As a qualified and certified locksmith, my obligation is to provide a quality service, careful lock fitting or access to your property as quickly as necessary to ensure your needs are met. I can advise you on correct lock types for external and internal doors, and I can provide additional security advice for extra peace of mind, such as door chains, door viewers and security bolts.

Lock fitting
New locks fitted carefully to suitable existing doors. As a guide, a standard nightlatch (commonly known as a Yale lock) fitting is normally around 1 hour. A standard mortice lock fitting (commonly known as a Chubb lock) is around 2 hours.
I also fit security rack bolts, door viewers and door chains for extra security.
Times are a guide and depend on the door, lock and existing hardware.
Lockouts
Help when keys are lost, locked inside, or a lock has failed. I use sensible non-destructive entry methods first if practical, and I aim to gain you access as quickly as possible. I will advise you of an entry plan before I begin.
Lock changes & security upgrades
Replacement of faulty, damaged or unsuitable locks, plus upgrades to suitable British Standard BS 3621 nightlatches and mortice locks which are insurance approved.
Euro Cylinder locks found in uPVC single or patio door mechanisms.
Replacement uPVC locking mechanisms.

No separate call-out charge. No additional hidden extras.
The price of parts will depend on the type of lock or device fitted. Locks come in a wide variety of sizes, types and security levels. I won’t charge for typical consumables used during the work.
I will always provide a quote for labour, parts and VAT.
I accept all major bank cards (payment on completion of work), and you will receive a receipt via email.
